June 7-8, 2024, UMD hosts the 5th annual Northeast Normativity Workshop, co-organized by Nick Laskowski. The NEN is an annual workshop taking place on a rotating basis at different universities along the Northeast Corridor, with talks on a range of normative issues, such as reasons, ignorance, enkrasia, consent,  love, error theory, envy, the difficulty of ethics, bias, encroachment, and notions of duty.
