September 27-28, Elizabeth Schechter is in Bonn, Germany, to give a keynote address at Borderline Consciousness, a conference hosted by a collaborative project of philosophers and neuroscientists at Bonn and Cambridge, aimed at the question of when and whether nonhumans can be considered conscious. Lizzie's talk was on "Hemispherectomy and Candidate Conscious Beings After Split-brain Surgery".
