Prerequisite: Two courses in Philosophy. Investigates the philosophical and empirical foundations of the concept of human nature. Topics will include biological essentialism, evolutionary psychology, social construction, innateness, gender, race, language, and morality. Students who have taken PHIL308Z may not take this course for credit.
