Current Problems in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology

Students taking this course will attend the colloquia of the Committee on the History and Philosophy of Science. The topic for the fall series is Philosophy of Biology/Philosophy of Chemistry. The colloquia usually meet on Thursdays at 4PM in 1116 IPST, but other times will be announced for some talks that are cosponsored by NACS, the Department of Biology, and other departments. Students will write one paper, which can be a paper on which they are working in another course. There will be opportunities to meet informally with visiting speakers.
